Shandong Zhenguan Special Steel Co., Ltd. has secured a major order from a Brazilian client, with a total contract value exceeding US$2 million.

Shandong Zhenguan Special Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhenguan Special Steel") recently signed a formal long-term supply agreement with Construtora Omega, a renowned Brazilian construction and engineering group. Under the terms of the agreement, Zhenguan Special Steel will supply the client with approximately 6,000 tons of U.S.-standard structural steel and steel plates over the next six months, with a total contract value exceeding US$2 million.

This represents the largest single order Zhenguan Special Steel has secured in the South American market to date, marking a significant milestone in the company's business expansion within the Latin American region.

Reportedly, Construtora Omega is a leading contractor for industrial and commercial real estate projects in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, maintaining rigorous standards regarding steel material composition, dimensional tolerances, and delivery schedules. To secure this contract, Zhenguan Special Steel’s foreign trade team engaged in an intensive three-month process of technical consultations and sample verification with the client. Ultimately, the company distinguished itself from numerous international competitors by demonstrating exceptional quality control capabilities, offering competitive pricing, and providing flexible Letter of Credit (L/C) payment solutions.

The products included in this order primarily consist of:

• ASTM A36 I-beams and channel steels, designated for use in the main structural frameworks of industrial facilities;

• GR50 hot-rolled medium-to-heavy plates, intended for use in heavy equipment foundations;

• Galvanized C-channels and purlins, designated for use in building envelope systems.

All products will be manufactured in strict compliance with U.S. standards, accompanied by EN10204 3.1 material certificates and third-party SGS inspection reports. The initial shipment—comprising approximately 1,200 tons of steel—was successfully loaded at Qingdao Port this week and is scheduled to arrive at the Port of Santos, Brazil, in mid-April.

The Director of Foreign Trade at Zhenguan Special Steel stated: "Establishing a long-term partnership with such a renowned Brazilian construction group serves as a strong affirmation of the capabilities of our supply chain and the quality of our service. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our engagement in the South American market, providing an expanding base of clients with cost-effective steel products that fully meet local regulatory standards."

Currently, Zhenguan Special Steel is actively preparing to participate in the "South America International Steel Exhibition," scheduled to take place in São Paulo this July, with the aim of further enhancing the company's brand influence throughout the Latin American region.
